Rs.60-lakh website to attract investments: CM Palanisamy

Chennai, July 12:

A new website will be created at a cost of Rs.60 lakhs to attract investments from entrepreneurs. This was announced by Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy today in the assembly under rule 110. The website would be named “Yaadhum oore, yaavarum kelir” and it would have logo christened as ‘Thozhil valar Tamilagam’ he added.

Apartments would be constructed at the Ranipet Sipcot industrial estate involving a cost of Rs.50 crores. A desalination plant would come up at Thoothukudi at a project cost of Rs.634 crores. The plant would produce 60 MLD of drinking water by desalinating the sea water.

Industrial training institutes would come up at Kanchipuram and Nagapattinam districts at a cost of Rs.26 crores. Long and short term courses would be commenced in 11 industrial training institutes. A technology park would be established in Coimbatore on nine acre of land involving a project cost of Rs.200 crores.
