By-election for four segments including Sulur: Election campaign ends tomorrow

Since tomorrow is the last day for campaigning at Tiruparankundram, Sulur, Ottapidaram and Aravakurichi which are going for by-poll on May 19, leaders of all political parties have been busy campaigning.

DMK president Stalin has launched his thinnai campaign at Sulur where by-poll will be held on May 19. Former minister Pongalur Palanisamy will be contesting on DMK ticket. Earlier, Stalin launched a two-day campaign in support of Pongalur Palanisamy He visited Appanaickenpatti where was given a rousing welcome.

Then the people presented their petitions to Stalin highlighting their grievances.  He assured them that their grievances would be looked into after DMK is voted to power.

Stalin visited AT Colony and sat on a ‘thinnai’ to launch his poll campaign. TNCC ex-president Thirunavukkarasu also canvassed for Pongalur Palanisamy. Earlier, Stalin visited Villapuram area in Tirupparankundram and canvassed for party candidate.

At Aravakurichi, DMDK treasurer Premalatha Vijayakanth canvassed for ADMK candidate Senthilnathan. In Ottapidaram segment, TMC president GK Vasan canvassed for ADMK candidate.
