CoP felicitates students for designing police feedback system

Two third year students of the Government Engineering College, Salem who had designed a Feedback System for the Salem City Police were felicitated by K.Shankar the Commissioner of Police. According to a communication from Police Media, the students T.Karthick and G.Jayaraman have for the first time in the state done this for the City Police.

The software enables to monitor from the Commissioner’s office, the response to public complaint petitions received at every police station. The feedback system was introduced a year back and action have been taken on 6300 petitions through it.

According to the Police Media, the system has been found useful by the public in speedy action on complaints. A virtual tracking system helps speed up investigations and post status reports. Acknowledging the successful functioning of the system, the Salem City Commissioner of Police, K.Shankar felicitated the Karthick and Jayaraman and gave them both appreciation certificates.
